The criteria are simple - If you were a high school recipient and are currently a full-time college student w/12 credit hour minimum and complete the essay question on the website for the year the scholarship is available and within the scholarship enrollment period you are eligible. 

     We paid out four continuing education scholarships this past December for a total of $4,000.00 to Alexis Bentz, Isabelle Boyer, Laura Muggli and Samantha Ellison for their 2024 spring semester.

     In December of 2022, $6000.00 was paid to six recipients continuing their education.  They included Alexis Bentz, Ashlei Stancyzk, Bryce Mutschelknaus, Isabelle Boyer, Laura Muggli & Madison Meyer.

     We were able to award $5,000.00 to five students in December of 2021 for the spring semester of 2022.  They included Alexis Bents, Ashlei Stancyzk, Bryce Mutschelknaus, Chris Bren, & Taylor Roehl.  Congratulations students.

     For the spring semester of 2021, our Treasurer paid $1000 each Kara Levorson, Dakota Schaefer, Taylor Roehl, Nathan Bren, Mryce Mutschelknaus, & Alexis Bentz for a total of $6000.00.

     Alexis Bentz, Sam Dart, Kara Leverson, Taylor Roehl and Dakota Schaefer received a total of $5,000 for their efforts for the spring semester of 2020.  Breanna Nehl received $750 as she was in the Master's program.

     At the scholarship meeting in December of 2018, a total of 8 students were awarded continuing education scholarships.  Seven of them received $1000 each.  They included Autumn Alt, Sydney Bentz, Jacob Edinger, Christopher Fischer, Dillon Koepplin, Alyssa Mutschelkanus, Nicholas Rivinius and Breanna Nehl received $750 for the Master's program.    

     Our Treasurer paid out eight scholarships for the spring semester 2018 in the amount of $8,000.  The Bank of North Dakota was part of that contribution including $500.  The following students received a $1000.00 scholarship made payable to them and the school they are attending:  Autumn Alt, Sydney Bentz, Christopher Fischer, Trevor Doll, Kaci Levorsen, Breanna Nehl, Nicholas Rivinius, and Chandler Rivinius. 

      For Spring Semester 2017 we were able to payout $7,000 to 7 returning college students in December of 2016.  Bank of North Dakota's contribution was $500.  Sydney Bentz, Tanner Doll, Trevor Doll, Ashley Laub, Kaci Levorsen, Chandler Rivinius, and Kayla Seidler each received a $1,000 scholarship.  Congratulations students!

     We eagerly awarded eight scholarships for continuing education in the amount of $8,000 total including the $500 contribution from the Bank of North Dakota in December 2015 for students enrolled spring semester of 2016.  The students receiving a $1,000 scholarship were Ashley Bentz, Tanner Doll, Trevor Doll, Brandy Koepplin, Kaci Levorsen, Chandler Rivinius, Kayla Scholes, and Kayla Seidler. 

     In December of 2014, six scholarships were awarded for continuing education in the amount of $7,200.  Thanks again to the Bank of North Dakota for the $500 contribution.  Each student received $1200.  The following students received a scholarship:  Ashley Bentz, Jared Fischer, MariAnn Leithold, Kayla Scholes, Kayla Seidler, and Elesha Tatro.   (One student chose not to attend spring semester). 

     GCFDS presented $7,600 in scholarships to 7 college students for the 2013-2014 college term.  $500 was sponsored by the Bank of North Dakota.  Scholarship awards were $1200 each to Trevor Doll, Chelsey Fischer, Kayla Scholes, & Kayla Seidler.  $1,000 each was awarded to Jared Fischer & Chelsey Lince and  $800 was awarded to MariAnn Leithhold. 

     In January 2013, Grant County Dollars for Scholars gave out three - $500 scholarships for continuing education beyond the college freshman.  $500 was sponsored by the BND.  The winners were Chelsey Fischer (Class of 2010),  Renee Morey (2008) and Trevor Doll (2011)                                        

     In 2012, we only extended the Bank of North Dakota $500 contribution, and the drawing winner was Chelsey Fischer from the Class of 2010.
