The 2024-2025 Senior Scholarship will open Monday, April 15, 2024 and will close Wednesday, May 8, 2024
Grant County Dollars for Scholars opens up scholarship opportunities to local high school students in Grant County including Elgin/New Leipzig School District as well as home-school students in our school district each year in April. Last year's six college freshman recipients received a total of $7500.00 for the Spring Semester of 2024.
We also offer continuing education scholarships to non-freshman college students.
The 2023-2024 Continuing Education Scholarship was awarded in December 2023.
Each student applying needs to write a short essay (200 words) in regard to their college education choices and career plans and must be a full-time college student (12 credit minimum). Master's degree students may also be eligible. The scholarship minimum was $500.00 and was awarded for the spring semester of 2024 provided the student continues to be a full-time student. The only prerequisite is to be a high school recipient of our scholarship.
The 2024 Continuing Education Scholarship included the following recipients and they each received $1000.00 for the spring semester of 2024: Alexis Bentz, Isabelle Boyer, Laura Muggli & Samantha Ellison.
