The Chapter is always looking for volunteers to help with the funds raisers.  We need people to contact supporters for funds for Bucks for Baskets or Volley for Dollars as well as people to make the game night posters.  We can use help students and parents to work the concession stands for our local community celebrations.  We can use a homemade pie or two for pies in the park evening.  The Elgin City Library, Jacobson Memorial Hospital Foundation or the American Legion or Elgin Lions are always looking for students to help with their open houses, turkey shoots or annual suppers.   All local organizations would appreciate help most anytime and the time the student puts in can be used towards their scholarship goals.
